AQA mark schemes spell it out: (allow …) lists the alternatives that still score, do not accept … names the answers that score nothing, and where a specific word is required, only that word earns the mark. Examiner reports say the same thing after every exam — what students had to say, and which popular phrasings were "insufficient".
