Momentum = mass × velocity: p = m v. Units kg m/s. This is a Higher tier equation (both Combined and Triple).
How to do it — step by step
p = m v.
Rearrange: v = p ÷ m, or m = p ÷ v.
Worked example
A 2 kg ball moving at 5 m/s.
p = 2 × 5 = 10 kg m/s
